While you're sunbathing on the sand or having too good of a time in the club, here are some soon-to-be summer anthems to start your summer soundtrack.
Sadly, most of these are not directly playable here. Please support the original artists and click through to watch them on YouTube!
1. A little angst-y to start off the playlist. Just let all your anger out then sit back and enjoy the summer.
Alone Together - Fall Out Boy
2. A mixture of rap, pop, and glitter make this song one to listen to while driving at night with the windows rolled down.
Crazy Kids - Ke$ha
3. Because everyone could use more JT. Also, if you were wondering what happened to Timbaland, he makes an appearance in this song.
Tunnel Vision - Justin Timberlake
4. Another roll-down-your-windows song. This is Ke$ha with a bit of country mixed in. Not the Taylor Swift version of country pop - but so much better.
Gold Trans Am - Ke$ha
5. If you haven't heard of Pitch Perfect, it is a movie about college students competing to win the a capella singing nationals. It's pretty much a comedic musical done with a capella mash ups of songs from the 90s til now.
Riff Off - Pitch Perfect Soundtrack
6. Old rock meets new rock, it's Fall Out Boy collaborating with Sir Elton John to create this awesome song.
Save Rock and Roll - Fall Out Boy
Enjoy these sounds of summer and have a fantabulous three-ish months of sun, surf, and pure relaxation! Email us or comment on this post with your playlist ideas (road trip, bonfire, girls' night out, and the list goes on) and we'll put something together for you! :)
