Essie Sunday Funday - Review

Sunday Funday is a coral nail polish, leaning a bit more orange than pink and sprinkled with some silver flecks of glitter that look almost gold in sunlight. This bright, sassy color looks great on all skin tones and is the perfect way to add interest to any look.

We love this color because it combines so many trends in subtle ways without one overshadowing another or stealing the spotlight-- we have a bit of neon going on, some shimmery metallics, and one of today's trendiest shades of salmon all wrapped up in one. What more could you want in a nail color?

Our Rating: 4.5/5

Get Some:
Sunday Funday is part of Essie’s Summer 2013 collection available now. This color can usually be found at places that normally carry Essie - Target, Walgreens, Ulta, CVS, etc. Be on the lookout because the Summer colors might be on a different display from the permanent Essie polishes.

Permanent Essie polishes can also be found at Kmart and Walmart. You also can look for Essie online on Essie.com, Nordstrom.com, Beauty.com, Ulta.com, and others.
Essie polishes vary in price from around $7.50-$8.50.

On Kayla (medium skin tone, outdoor light, sunny):
**Base + 2 coats of Sunday Funday

On Angela (light skin tone, outdoor light, overcast):
**2 coats of Sunday Funday

Where to Wear:

We recommend wearing Sunday Funday on Sundays only-- just kidding! Despite its namesake, it's a great color for any day of the week. Wear it to school, work, out on dates, or even just chilling at home for a girls' night in. It lasts a solid 4 days with minimal chipping so don't be afraid to do any outdoor activities once dry.
