Lush It's Raining Men - Review

It's Raining Men is a honey-scented shower gel with toffee and fudge notes. It is organic and vegan and  in addition to honey it contains sweet wild orange, bergamot, lotus flower and tiger lily scents.

Kayla's Take: 

It's Raining Men is a very sweet-smelling shower gel. If you do not like overly sweet, sugary scents this may not be the one for you. However, if you are a fan of Honey I Washed the Kids soap by Lush, you will love this. It even says so on the bottle.

It's Raining Men is an awesomely luxurious product. It foams into a thick lather and smells like slightly floral honey toffee. The consistency is thick and which makes this product really moisturizing. It is good for dry skin and washes off easily. The scent stays on after a shower for a little while. The scent is by no means overpowering and it fades fairly quickly.

I love Lush products because they are all-natural and use the least amount of preservatives as possible. That being said, since shower gels are liquid, some preservatives need to be added to prolong the shelf life (to allow people to actually finish the product before it expires). This shower gel in particular has a shelf life of about 14 months.

Some people experience the scent changing over time. To fix, shake your bottle before use! It seems like the honey sinks to the bottom and so does the honey scent. Redistributing the honey, brings it back to normal.

I would definitely repurchase this product. The scent is the major draw and it works well, too.
